Life as a Christian

Your decision for life, which you expressed with the prayer, is the best you've ever met!

So the journey with God really starts.

Maybe you feel different, maybe you don`t not feel any special change either.

Be sure both are completely normal!

But you do not stay the way you are, you will change to the positive - to Jesus.

The following points are important in your new life as a newborn Christian:

1. Pray - Talk to God

Prayer is a conversation with your loving Father.

You've already done it, he hears you and you can tell him everything.

You can do it loudly and quietly, alone or with other people.

2. God's Word - Read in the Bible

The Bible is the Word of God which He has held for us.

The Holy Scripture, also called the Bible, was inspired by God's Spirit.

Buy a Bible or send us an email, we will send you one for free.

At the beginning, we recommend the Bible after Good News translation.

Begin to read the Luke or John Gospel.

Look for a quiet place and take 15 minutes of undisturbed time every day.

Pray to God, thank Him for things that come to your mind and ask the Holy Spirit to explain the written word to you.

Pray for things that are on your heart or for other people.

4. Grow in the gifts of the Holy Spirit

Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control are the gifts of the Holy Spirit (Gal. 5.22).

If you grow in these good gifts, then the fruits in your life  will be visible!

3. Get baptized in the name "Jesus Christ"
Baptism means being immersed in the water. You give up your old life and receive a new life in CHRIST -

you will be born again (John 3: 7)

5. Community with other Christians

We are not alone on our journey to God's heart.

Maybe you know other believing Christians in your environment, seeking community with you. It is easier to be together on the way and to talk about faith.

Real Christians (we mean those who carry Christ in their hearts) are keen to support you on your way.
